The Henderson Chamber committees carry out the Chamber mission by engaging members through volunteer opportunities, networking and an array of events.


Membership Development Committee

Chair: Lori Tuggle

To be a champion for the Chamber helping to promote, engage, and communicate with members. Ambassador program is to offer a special opportunity to core volunteers that assist with growth of the Chamber membership.

Events and Initiatives: New Member Orientation, Morning Networking, After Hours Social Networking, Ribbon Cuttings, Annual Dinner, Ambassadors


Agriculture Committee

Chair: Dr. Katy Groves Mussat 

To promote and support agribusiness in Henderson County

Events and Initiatives: Agriculture Appreciation Breakfast, Farm to Table, Farmers Market, Agriculture Education


Government Affairs Committee

Chair: Eric Gardner

To monitor legislative and regulatory activity at the local, state, and national level which impacts the business community.  To review issues in our community that impact businesses and quality of life. To promote awareness of candidates and issues they represent during election periods.

Events and Initiatives: Candidate Training/Education, Community Conversations, Candidate Forums, State of the City/State of the County, Legislative Series, Kentucky Chamber Luncheon, Kentucky Chamber Day Dinner

Chair: Dr. Michelle Chappell

To bridge the education system and workforce readiness by assisting the education to build a better graduate and workforce employee

Events and Initiatives: Education Appreciation, Scholarship for Henderson High School Senior, Career Education, Workforce Development
